The following is Human Fintech’s analysis

Read growth through deposits and obligations.

A larger customer base can bring very different funding depending on balance concentration, pricing and customer purpose. Distinguish operating balances from rate-sensitive deposits, and assess whether profitable-looking cohorts remain attractive after servicing and funding costs. A digital interface can change the speed of customer action without eliminating the bank’s maturity transformation or liquidity needs.

Test the ability to operate under pressure.

Trace liquidity mobilisation, decision rights and dependencies on external providers. A stress scenario should specify the sequence of events and the institution’s practical ability to respond, not simply apply a percentage haircut. The Russian research includes illustrative cohort economics and an outflow scenario. Basel Committee publications supply a framework and historical observations. They are not treated as a single binding rule for all jurisdictions or as evidence that an individual digital bank will experience a particular outcome. The commercial test is whether the institution can serve the customers it acquires through ordinary conditions and a period of pressure without relying on untested assumptions.
